Terms of service

These terms cover your use of ThaiPo (thaipo.ai), a translation bot for LINE chats operated by ThaiPo Labs in Thailand. By creating an account or adding the bot to a chat, you agree to them.

1. The service

ThaiPo translates messages (primarily Thai and English) inside LINE chats where the bot has been added. Translation is free. Paid plans buy memory: glossary terms, corrections, and context that improve translation quality over time. Plan details and current prices are on the pricing section of the home page.

2. Your account

You can sign in with LINE, Google, or email. Keep your account details accurate and your credentials to yourself. You must be able to enter a binding agreement (or have a guardian's permission) to use paid plans.

3. Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in Thai Baht (฿) through Stripe.
  • You can switch plans at any time from the billing portal; charges are prorated.
  • You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then drops to Free. No partial-month refunds.
  • Prices may change. We will give you notice before a change affects an existing subscription.
  • On the Free plan, and after a downgrade, translation keeps working; only memory depth is reduced (the oldest memories age out of use and come back if you upgrade again).

4. Fair use

Translation is free and unlimited for people chatting. It is not free infrastructure for machines: we apply per-chat rate limits, and messages over the limit are not translated. Do not use ThaiPo to spam, harass, break the law, or probe or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Your content

Your messages stay yours. You give us permission to process and store them as described in the privacy policy, which is what providing translation and memory requires, and nothing more. You are responsible for what you and your groups send. When you add the bot to a group, make sure the group is okay with it.

6. Translations can be wrong

Translations are produced by AI and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or miss the tone. They are provided for everyday conversation. Do not rely on ThaiPo for legal, medical, financial, or emergency communication, and double-check anything important. We are not responsible for misunderstandings caused by a translation.

7. LINE

ThaiPo runs on LINE, which is a separate company with its own terms and rules. We do not control LINE; platform rules (for example, only one official account can be in a group at a time) and outages on their side are outside our control.

8. Ending things

You can remove the bot from any chat, or delete your account and data from the dashboard settings, at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where reasonable, we will warn you first.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

10. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If a change to the terms meaningfully affects you, we will update this page and announce it on the website before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
